Ventolines selected as finalist for Ventus Awards
We are very proud to announce that Ventolines is a finalist for this year’s U.S. Ventus Award for Advancement in Project Siting & Development. The avian and aviation radar systems Ventolines has integrated into the Windpark Fryslân project make it one of the most advanced projects in the world. The winners will be announced during the Ventus Awards gala on November 17th.
In 2021, Ventolines already won the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Program of the Year Award for the successful implementation of the Gemba app. This app prevents accidents and injuries in the workplace, increases safety awareness and complies with applicable laws and regulations. Liz Burdock, president and CEO of the Business Network for Offshore Wind at the Ventus Awards Gala, said, “Ventolines’ Gemba app is an ingenious app that allows multiple parties to quickly submit and review quality and safety observations. We think this is very impressive and therefore deserves this award. The app creates the opportunity for more dialogue, and potential for improvement in safety performance.”
