Battenoert Wind Farm

Battenoert Wind Farm in Goeree-Overflakkee was the first wind farm of the Delta Wind Cooperative which was built in 1996. After nineteen years the seven wind turbines were replaced by newer, more high-tech and efficient turbines which could produce four times as much energy. From May 2015 to March 2016 the scaling up process took place. There are now four wind turbines of 3.05 MW at the same location, which generate 40 million kilowatt hours per year, enough for 11,000 households.

During the construction phase of the wind turbines of Battenoert Wind Farm, Ventolines assured the quality by monitoring the construction and performed the take-over inspections. End products were the construction oversight and take-over inspection reports.

Due to the diversity of activities, three Ventolines specialists were hired by the client; namely a supervisor for the tower construction, a supervisor for the wind turbine construction and a technical engineer for the take-over inspections.
