Marco Kok is QSHE Manager (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) at Ventolines, he is active on projects but also at corporate level for Ventolines.<\/p>\n

“In our projects my role starts in the development phase with the creation of a Safety & Health Plan . After that, I am part of the contracting team that draws up a program of requirements in terms of HSE and coordinates it with the potential contractors. For Ventolines I am responsible for the risk inventory and evaluation, company emergency services and (HSE) training of employees. In addition, I am also involved in other internal projects such as ISO certification.”<\/p>\n

What motivated Marco to apply for the role of QSHE Manager at Ventolines? The diversity and complexity of the projects caught his attention. Marco sees complicated projects as a puzzle of which some pieces are missing: an enormous challenge to solve. In order to solve this puzzle, he facilitates the collaboration between the client and the executing party, because that way you achieve more. He also thought it would be fun to sit in the client’s chair for a change.<\/p>\n

Marco also enjoys working on innovative projects, as he likes to think critically about matters that are not standardized. A good example of this is of course Windpark Frysl\u00e2n, the largest wind farm in an inland waterway in the world. It was of course a special experience to work on such a unique project. Especially the large number of parties involved made the project interesting and offered the opportunity to positively influence the perception of HSE.<\/p>\n

“Ventolines as a client is hugely involved in projects. Partly thanks to the Gemba Observations application, we offer project members an up-to-date overview of the progress, quality and QSHE status of projects. I am therefore proud that the application won the Ventus Award for ‘HSE Program of the Year’ last year.”<\/p>\n

Windpark Frysl\u00e2n is bijna klaar. De 89 windturbines met een tiphoogte van 180 meter worden momenteel van fundering tot gondel ge\u00efnspecteerd, waarna deze worden getest en in bedrijf gaan. Windturbines met een tiphoogte van meer dan 150 meter, moeten wettelijk worden voorzien van luchtvaartverlichting. Bij Windpark Frysl\u00e2n geldt dit voor de buitenste 30 windturbines. Dankzij een naderingsdetectiesysteem kan deze verlichting binnenkort \u2019s nachts worden uitgeschakeld wanneer er geen luchtvaartuigen in de buurt van het windpark zijn.<\/p>

Verlichting windpark<\/strong><\/p>

De windturbines hebben boven in een lamp die overdag wit licht en \u2019s nachts rood licht rondom uitstraalt. Halverwege de toren zit verlichting die \u2019s nachts continu rood licht uitstraalt. Om de overlast van de verlichting voor de omgeving te beperken, heeft Windpark Frysl\u00e2n diverse maatregelen genomen:<\/p>
