This concerns not only safe working during the construction of a wind farm or other renewable energy project but also guaranteeing safety once the project is operational.<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||0px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n This requires extra attention for a large and complex nearshore wind farm like Windpark Frysl\u00e2n and conducting safety inspections entails thorough planning and the use of specialized equipment.<\/p>\n As part of the safety plan for Windpark Frysl\u00e2n, Ventolines regularly conducts vessel inspections, focusing on aspects such as health, safety, and environment, cleanliness, certifications, familiarity with procedures and limitations, crew, local conditions, and more.<\/p>\n On March 4, 2024, such a vessel inspection took place during the mobilization of the Seazip 7. The following day, the annual underwater inspection of the foundations of the wind turbines of Windpark Frysl\u00e2n began.<\/p>\n The scope of the underwater inspection includes various components, such as inspecting the Siemens Gamesa wind turbines using an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) around the piles, cables, and other structures. This involves examining visual damage, wear and tear, marine growth, bottom erosion around the foundations, and the condition of inter-array cables.
