The Netherlands is working on sustainable energy. By 2050, the energy supply must be almost entirely sustainable. Sustainable energy is needed to become less dependent on fossil fuels and to limit climate change. That is why, among other things, it is necessary to realize wind energy. In order to contribute to this national objective, the province of Groningen has designated an area for wind energy. In this area the expansion of the existing wind farm Delftzijl Zuid with 16 wind turbines is planned. The total number of megawatts (MW) of installed capacity is not yet definitive, but it is expected to be around 65 megawatts (MW). The initiators of the wind farm are:<\/p>\n

Ventolines has been engaged for both the development and contracting process. Ventolines is also the point of contact for the environment. Together with the initiators and other stakeholders we work in steps towards the realization phase and, by extension, the operation of the wind farm on the basis of a jointly determined development strategy. The coordination and development work is carried out by Ventolines with an eye for the dynamics involved in the realization of wind energy projects. This includes environmental-technical, political, financial-economic and social factors. Within the scope of the project management entrusted to us, the following activities fall within the scope of the project management: land agreements, financial yield calculations, engineering, contact with the environment (such as information evenings), the planning process for the zoning plan and permits, concluding grid connection agreements, tendering and contracting of the turbines and the infrastructure.<\/p>\n
