Windpark De Drentse Monden en Oostermoer consists of 45 wind turbines and supplies green electricity to approximately 225,000 households each year. This would, for example, already supply the entire province of Drenthe with electricity (the province of Drenthe has 216,000 households). The wind farm is located in the northern part of the Drentse Veenkoloni\u00ebn in the province of Drenthe, in municipalities Borger-Odoorn and Aa en Hunze.<\/p>\n

The Drentse Veenkoloni\u00ebn is home to many farmers who would like to expand their business activities with the construction of wind turbines on their land. Independently of each other, three initiatives arose, which then started to cooperate under the direction of the government. The three parties are Duurzame Energieproductie Exlo\u00ebrmond, Pure Energie and Windpark Oostermoer Exploitatie. In total, more than 100 locally established, agricultural companies are involved.<\/p>\n

The 45 wind turbines with a tip height of 210.5 meters are placed in six line configurations. These lines are spread over more than 50 square kilometers in the area of 2e Exlo\u00ebrmond, Nieuw-Buinen, Drouwenermond and Gasselternijveen.<\/p>\n
