Niels brings a wealth of experience in the sector. He has held various positions at organisations including Rabobank, Windpark Krammer, Windplan Groen and Windpark Zeewolde. He was also co-founder of IN.credible, a specialist financial advisory firm dedicated entirely to sustainability, with a strong focus on renewable energy. Through this venture, he quickly built a solid reputation within the sector.

Although Niels has worked independently as an entrepreneur for many years, he made the decision to join Ventolines. “I didn’t expect to return to working for an organisation, but the conversations I had with various people at Ventolines immediately felt right. The team, the company culture and our shared vision on sustainable energy gave me the confidence that I can maintain my professional independence even within a team environment. At the same time, I look forward to contributing to the further growth of the Financial Advisory portfolio at Ventolines,” says Niels.

His motivation to stay actively involved in the energy transition played a major role in his decision. Despite the current challenges in the Dutch market, he sees that the transition is continuing at full pace, and he is determined to keep making an impact. In addition to his expertise, Niels brings with him a strong network, which he will use to connect new clients to Ventolines. He also aims to further expand the international position of the Financial Advisory team.
