Financing achieved for De Drentse Monden and Oostermoer Wind Farm
The De Drentse Monden and Oostermoer Wind Farm project achieved Financial Close just before the new year. The wind farm, with a capacity of 175.5 MW, makes an important contribution to achieving the national target of 6000 MW of onshore wind power. The wind farm will consist of 45 wind turbines spread over six lines on the territory of the municipalities of Aa en Hunze and Borger-Odoorn in the province of Drenthe. The wind farm is expected to be operational in 2021.
Project management and management
The project is developed and operated by Sustainable Energy Production Exloërmond, Windmill Park Oostermoer and Raedthuys – Pure Energy. Ventolines, an all-round service provider in the renewable energy market, will be involved in this project from November 2017 for the tendering of the wind turbines, the supervision of all EMC modifications, the tendering of the civil and electrical works and the contracting of the parties involved. After reaching Financial Close, Ventolines will supervise the construction of the wind farm with a project team.
