Jan Verheij new General Manager at Ventolines
Ventolines has appointed Jan Verheij as its new permanent General Manager with effect from 1 January 2024. Jan Verheij succeeds Aart van der Pal who has been in charge of Ventolines’ daily management for more than three years. His successor is an experienced director at industrial companies in the renewable energy sector.
For the past eight years, Jan Verheij was CEO of Joulz, a company in electrical infrastructure services, metering services, solar energy and charging solutions for electric vehicles. Before that he was, among other things, Project Director of NOP Agrowind, part of Windpark Noordoostpolder. This brings Verheij both managerial experience and specific substantive project knowledge in the field of wind energy, solar energy and system integration. Experience and knowledge that will both come in handy in his new position.
Verheij says the following about his appointment: ‘I am happy to start at Ventolines. Ventolines is an excellent company with an extremely capable team of professionals that actually develops, builds and manages sustainable energy projects. Ventolines is a great next step for me to contribute to the energy transition again.’
‘The appointment of Jan Verheij as experienced General Manager fits well with our strategy to achieve further growth through diversification and internationalisation of our project and client portfolio, comments Jelma de Groot, co-founder of Ventolines. We wish Jan every success at Ventolines. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Aart van der Pal for his drive and commitment during the past years in the successful further development of Ventolines’.
