Fryslân wind farm reaches financial close
Ten banks and the province of Friesland are jointly providing financing to Windpark Fryslân, which is being built in the IJsselmeer to the south of the Afsluitdijk, six kilometres off the Frisian coast. Never before has such a large wind farm been built in an inland waterway in the world.
