Internship – Business Intelligence International Markets

Description

Ventolines is expanding internationally. Having grown to a company of 100+ staff and contractors, we are now focusing our international business development efforts on a selective group of other markets, mainly in the EU.

Our Business Development Lead for the international wind business is looking for an ambitious student who can help gathering additional market intelligence from our priority markets and customer segments. With the help of additional market intelligence our business development efforts in the priority markets will become more targeted and will therefore have a higher success rate.

Profile

You are a master student in Industrial Engineering or similar degree program. You possess at least several of the following characteristics:

• A commercial mindset and a keen interest in how commercial markets function
• Strong affinity with the renewable energy sector and the energy transition
• Strong analytical skills
• Desktop projects experience: knowledgeable on how to gather information & business intelligence
• Ability to see through complexity and to distill the essence out of seemingly conflicting data
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong networking skills
• Pro-active and self-starting personality
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Dutch is an advantage, but not required
• Have an understanding of what drives customers’ business decisions

At Ventolines an internship allowance and refund of travel costs to and from the office in Almere is part of the package. Working times can be discussed, with a minimum of 24 hours/week. Hybrid working is possible by mutual agreement.
The Ventolines office is based in the World Trade Centre Almere, right next to NS railway station Almere Centraal.
