App creates opportunity for increased dialogue and potential for safety performance improvement

Washington, 22 November 2021 – Ventolines is honored to be chosen as the awardee in The Health, Safety & Environment Program of the Year Award at last week’s Ventus Awards. The inaugural occurrence of this event was sponsored by the Business Network for Offshore Wind. The Health, Safety & Environment Program of the Year award recognizes an organization’s successful implementation of policies and/or training programs that prevent workplace accidents and injuries, increase safety awareness, and meet the requirements of environmental and occupational health and safety laws and requirements.

Liz Burdock, president and CEO of the Business Network for Offshore Wind at The Ventus Awards Gala: “Ventolines’ Gemba app was an ingenious development by its employees. The rapid way that quality and safety observations can be submitted and reviewed by multiple parties is impressive and deserving of the 2021 HSE Program of the Year award. The app creates opportunity for increased dialogue, which in turn creates potential for safety performance improvement.”

Marco Kok, QHSE Manager of Ventolines: “In this rapidly growing market, safety is a primary concern as the speed of programs increases dramatically. The Gemba Observations Application of Ventolines is applicable in all construction industries and phases of a renewable project. Gemba allows users to bring projects to market safely, transparent, quickly, and helps correct material defects before they affect your critical path.”
